Omani Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation H.E Prof. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrooqi Visited the Supreme Council

Oman’s Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, H.E. Prof. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrooqi, visited the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language, and History as part of a series of engagements in Türkiye. During the visit, delegations led by Supreme Council President H.E. Ambassador Prof. Dr. Derya Örs and H.E. Prof. Al Mahrooqi held discussions.

The meeting focused on potential collaborations to strengthen academic and cultural ties between Oman and Türkiye, exploring joint research projects and innovation initiatives.
The visit also addressed possible projects to promote the cultural heritage of both countries. A consensus was reached to foster mutual understanding by uncovering shared values and launching new collaborative projects to enhance cultural and academic connections between Türkiye and Oman. Furthermore, the delegations expressed commitment to establishing lasting bonds between academic institutions in both nations by sharing knowledge in scientific collaboration, research, and innovation.

The discussions also covered the organization of joint cultural and educational events, student exchange programs, and the reciprocal sharing of publications in the fields of culture, history, and science. The idea of translating significant cultural and scientific works from each country was highlighted, with the intent of deepening mutual understanding and facilitating the sharing of common cultural values.
