Happy 94th Anniversary to the Turkish Language Association

Happy 94th anniversary to the Turkish Language Association, founded on 12 July 1932 under the auspices of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, as the Society for the Study of the Turkish Language.

“National identity and language are closely intertwined. A national and rich language is the main factor in developing a national sense. Turkish is one of the richest languages as long as this language is cultivated with consciousness. The Turkish nation, which wants to protect its country and independence, should also rescue its language from being under siege by foreign languages.”
