Prof. Dr. Muhammet HEKİMOĞLU, born in Trabzon in 1970, graduated from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Ataturk University in 1990. He was appointed as a Research Assistant in the Department of Eastern Languages and Literatures of Kirikkale University Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 1994. Prof. Dr. HEKIMOGLU was appointed as a Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Kırıkkale University in 2016. Prof. Dr. Muhammet HEKIMOĞLU, was appointed as the Deputy President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History in 2013. He served as the President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History between 2020 and 2023.
Prof. Dr. Derya ÖRS
He was born in Konya. He graduated from Ankara University, the Faculty of Languages and History-Geography, Eastern Languages and Literatures department. He was appointed as research assistant in 1990 at the same university. He was appointed as professor at Ankara University, the department of Persian Language and Literature. He served as the president of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History in the years 2012-2018.
Prof. Dr. M. Bahaeddin YEDİYILDIZ
He was born in Ordu in 1945. He was appointed as lecturer at Hacettepe University, the department of History. Yediyıldız, who was promoted to professor in 1988, served as the President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History in the years 2009-2012.
Prof. Dr. Sadık TURAL was born in Kırıkkale in 1946. He graduated from Atatürk University, the faculty of literature. He became a research assistant in 1973 at Hacettepe University, where he was appointed as a lecturer in 1972. Tural, who was elected as a member of the Atatürk Culture Center Scientific Committee and Executive Board, served as the president of the Atatürk Culture Center in 1993-2000. He was appointed as the president of Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History in 2000. He has been served for nine years here
Chosen as a member of the Scientific Committee of the Turkish Historical Association in 1989, Prof. Dr. Genç served as the President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History in the years 1993-2000.
Prof. Dr. Utkan Kocatürk was born in 1937 in Gümüşhane. He graduated from Ankara University, faculty of medicine. He was promoted to professor in 1979. He worked as faculty member in various universities’ faculty of medicine. As the first president of the Atatürk Research Center, Utkan served as president of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History in the years 1992-1993. He passed away in Ankara in 2011. His funeral ceremony held in the building of Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History.
Retired Lieutenant General Suat İlhan, born in Tokat in 1925, worked as a military attaché in Bucharest after completing his education. He gave lectures on War History, Military Geography, and Geopolitics at the Turkish Military Academy. İlhan, who is also an Honorary Member of the Atatürk Research Center, retired due to the age limit after serving as the founding President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language, and History for nine years 1983-1991.
