THE 97TH ANNIVERSARY OF NUTUK (THE SPEECH)’S READING IN THE ASSEMBLY
On October 15-20, 1927, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk delivered his historic speech, Nutuk (The Speech), in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. With this monumental work, Atatürk recounted the period from the National Struggle to the early years of the Republic, leaving the spirit of Turkey’s independence and the fundamental principles of the Republic as a legacy to the Turkish Nation.
